ABOUT KC HUGHES

A London-based film producer whose career spans seven years in the independent film industry. Recognized for his ability to foster creative collaborations and guide first-time directors, KC has developed a portfolio of films that merge artistic ambition with commercial viability.
His credits include Perfidia, which won Best Actor at the Kosice International Film Fest 2024, and Flowered, winner of Best TikTok Film at the Diminuto International Minimum Film Festival 2023. Beyond short films, KC produced the award-winning web series The Stairs, which received Best Dramedy Web Series and Best Set Design at the British Web Awards. He has collaborated with emerging and established talents such as Ade Dee Haastrup, Bibi Lucille, Bruna Pias, Kamanzi Gakuru, Parvinder Shergill, Chiara Fulgoni and Daniel Lam.
KC is an active member of BECTU and has contributed to the industry as a mentor for Film London Connect. He is currently producing Stay With Me, a dramedy short in partnership with Triback Films, and developing three new projects: Shark, Godson, and A Boy Called Felix. With a creative mission rooted in telling culturally impactful stories, elevating diverse voices, and experimenting with magical realism, KC continues to produce films that resonate with global audiences.
